Well Yamaha is really close is some ways if not dead on with the CSG111's, the German horns, but these old Buffet 1960s had their issues. They are surely overrated. I need to tighten a loose pillar on a wooden B & H Emperor clarinet. It is the upper pillar (with spring) accommadating the F# alternate key (lower joint). The problem is that although the pillar is loose it will not unscrew.
